This month is all about MIXING IT UP.
Jan Challenge #1- Product usage challenge:
Tired of having all those leftover letter stickers that you can’t use? Or chipboard letters? Well for this challenge, I want you to MIX IT UP. Play with your stickers, rubons and chipboard letters to create a title or sentiment. This is a great way to use up older product and can help you create a unique look!

Above, you can see I used a mix of letter stickers & chipboard. Some of the chipboard was plain (raw) making it easier to alter with markers and paint. Doodle on your letter stickers and chipboard, or use a stamp. I also added stickers and rubons.
Jan Challenge #2 – Design Challenge:
You know how great a sophisticated top can look with simple jeans… well, in the theme of mixing it up, try this with your scrapbooking by mixing together two different styles. Adding in a more casual style along with more formal styles can keep your project from being too stuffy (or too silly). Mixing various styles can also be a great way to experiment with a new style!
Try mixing your usual style and one that you like but don’t always use. An easy way to do this is to mix together different products from product lines with different styles. For my Hello Kitty minialbum, I mixed together various products, playing with different looks such as elegant mixed with grunge. Mix some Love, Elsie with MM Noteworthy. Or Basic Grey with KI. You get the idea!

I promise more examples soon! Once you create your project (layout, card, altered item, minialbum, whatever you prefer!) be sure to link it in the comment section!
**I promise a cool RAK for at least one person to do our first challenge and link back to here! We would love to check out your work either on your blog or your favorite online gallery. **
